The Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP) is a non-profit trade association of provider organizations serving individuals with autism spectrum disorder. If your organization is not eligible for membership, there are opportunities to engage with CASP through our Affiliate Programs.

CASP Member Organization

CASP membership is open to organizations that demonstrate a commitment to promoting and delivering evidence-based services for autistic individuals. Criteria for CASP membership are as follows:

  • The organization employs providers who directly implement evidence-based services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) for the purposes of diagnosis, skill development, and/or addressing maladaptive behaviors associated with ASD. 

  • The organization employs providers who maintain the proper credentials, training, and experience to deliver a given service.

  • The organization does not promote or implement services for ASD that are not evidence-based..

Components of evidence-based services include, but are not limited to, the following: 1

  • The delivery of services is guided by published research in peer-reviewed journals and reflects the general consensus of the field.

  • Ongoing services are adapted as new findings are published in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Objective data are collected and used to measure progress and guide clinical decision-making for the purpose of providing effective interventions that produce meaningful outcomes.

  • Access to CASP resources

    • Hundreds of learning hours through our annual conference and online CEU center, including BACB CEU and RBT PDU.

    • Free access to clinical and organizational guidelines.

    • No limit to the number of employees you can have under your membership.

  • Draw on hundreds of your peers’ knowledge, resources and experience

    • Access to over 50 Special Interest Groups, Executive Sections, and State Advocacy Groups.

  • Advocacy

    • CASP employs federal lobbyists with strong bipartisan congressional connections.

    • You receive updates from our lobbyists, and we listen to your concerns.

  • CASP Member Discounts

    • CASP’s Annual Conference.

    • Business Affiliate products and services.

CASP membership dues are based on your entire organization's annual revenue, as described below in Table 1. We ask the applicant to provide this figure, but our membership manager may also review your financial statement to confirm its accuracy.
