Practice Parameters for Artificial Intelligence Use in Applied Behavior Analysis
In recent years, many organizations providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) have been integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their administrative and clinical activities. However, practitioners have selected, adopted, and deployed AI faster than laws, regulations, and guidelines can keep up. As a result, ABA organizations have been independently navigating the AI integration.
These practice parameters provide guidance on payer, regulatory, and ethical matters as well as organizational oversight of AI. The parameters also offer strategies on AI selection and deployment, change management, monitoring, and auditing practices.
