Event Details
The Schools SIG discusses issues related to school-based services and school operations. Topics such as staffing, ABA strategies, crisis prevention, recruitment and retention, and programming are discussed.
This SIG's short-term goals include
- Provide solutions to the staffing shortage in schools.
- Start to unpack the complicated issues around restraint and seclusion.
- Establish best practices for ABA-based interventions in school settings.
The Schools SIG meets quarterly.
