The purpose of the CASP Ethics SIG is to continually evaluate the use and interpretation of the Behavior Analyst Ethics Code by practitioners and provide supports in order to navigate potential ethical dilemmas when they arise.
This SIG's short-term goals include
- Continue to develop specific guidelines for how to apply a decision-making model when faced with an ethical dilemma or perceived violation.
- Disseminate this in-depth model and set of procedures at various Applied Behavior Analytic events, including conferences, conventions, and through CASP webinars.
- Using the new platform we are calling "Dear Don," provide advisement for how to proceed with applying the decision-making model when one identifies a potential ethical violation.
The Ethics SIG meeting cadence is to be determined.
Please note: You must be enrolled in this SIG in order to participate in scheduled Zoom calls. Please visit the CASP Community on Mobilize to request to join this SIG.
